IFS
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a compassionate, evidence-based therapeutic approach that views the mind as made up of multiple “parts,” each with its own perspectives and roles. These parts often develop in response to life experiences, and while they may sometimes cause internal conflict, all parts are believed to have positive intentions. IFS helps individuals access their core Self—a calm, curious, and confident inner presence—capable of healing wounded parts and restoring internal balance. The therapy focuses on building relationships between the Self and parts, promoting inner harmony and resilience. IFS can be effective for a range of issues, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem challenges.
I am also trained and well-versed in combining IFS and EMDR, which can be a lovely way to heal these parts of our selves.
